CHIZU Drink @ Sunway Pyramid
Hello there!
It's school holiday and I'm here at the newly opened Japanese drink outlet 'Chizu' in Sunway Pyramid!
The name of the shop 'Chizu' comes from a Japanese word which means 'cheese'. Naming after cheese, the shop obviously serves cheese. And yes, this time they are serving CHEESE in DRINK FORM! Chizu cheese drink serves coffee and tea that are specially handcrafted with cheese.
And here comes the Matcha Red Bean Cheese.
Seeing that we had long waited, a sweet helpful staff sent the drink to us and explained on the drinking tips. They don't provide straws and the cup is designed so that consumers can drink both layers in a mixed way from the beginning till the end.
And due to its creative design, the cup produced a shape on my upper lips which looks like a moustache =)
It's an interesting drink!
Last to mention, the shop does not serve only cheese drink, but also sushi-sized cakes. They look tempting, but too expensive to me. A piece of cake costs RM6. So I didn't try them out =(

We asked the staff for her recommendation and ordered the signature Matcha Red Bean Cheese which costs RM13. There was a queue of 5 orders and we waited for around 10 minutes for the drink to be served. Quite slow -.-
Luckily there was an entertainment for me while waiting, which was reading some interesting information in the pamphlet by Chizu. Basically, the cheese drink consists of two layers, the Japanese cheese foam on the upper layer and our choice of tea/ coffee on the lower layer.
The company also claims that their drinks contain nutritional values and bring some health benefits to our body, which include building muscle, good for teeth and bones, boost immunity and contains vitamin A and B12. Guess that's the function of cheese ;P
More interestingly there are suggestions on how to burn the 32 calories that the cheese drink brings to our body. Good job to the company for being so considerate to the customers' welfare! =D Well I mean that's what most people concern, right?
